Sometimes when children are experiencing distress and big emotions, they don't know what they need to feel safe and feel ok. This is a tool you can use to teach them about options for feeling safe and OK, so that when children are upset and having difficulty asking for what they need for self regulation, co-regulation or engagement, they can show you what they need.
